Introduction of the new municipal budgeting and accountancy system - Doppik ("double-entry bookkeeping") - in practice

Due to the necessary administrative reforms, it has to be searched nationwide for new ways to reform budgetary accounting. The reform project contains the introduction and the use of a new municipal budgeting and accountancy system, which is based on a comprehensive resource planning concept for resource quantity and resource consumption which is known as RCA.

What seems to be just a small reform actually means for German cities, municipalities and administrative districts, one of the biggest challenges of their history. Due to this change the local authorities have to cope with a considerably high expenditure of time and costs.
